My family is fighting the croup and other nasty viruses right now. Tis the season, right? Here are a couple of mom-invented things that have made the season o' sickness a little easier to manage.

After putting my son to bed, my hubby and I realized that neither of us had given him his evening dose of antibiotic. So we had to get him up, give him the med and put him back to bed. To avoid such a recurrance, we've found the Dose Keeper. This handy chart attaches directly to the medicine bottle and allows parents and caregivers to keep track of when the last dose was given. With colds come runny noses. Despite liberally slathering on the lotion, my son and I have a rather pathetic-looking set of raw, red noses.
