Hop on!

Like most crazes, toy fads com and go. But there are several toys in our toy chest that continue to stand the test of time. So it's no wonder that many of those favs can be found at Maukilo where the motto is "Buy once. Play Forever." For example, they have the classic and customizable Automoblox and the creative play of Bilibo we told you about. And now we bring you a new fav, the Rody Jumping Horse.

I only wish this latex-free vinyl horse came in my size because it looks like a ton of fun. My kiddo must have thought the same thing as he could hardly wait for me to finish inflating it before he hopped on and started jumping.

Kids as young as three will enjoy the Rody Jumping Horse and you can inflate it more as the child grows. Admittedly, I'm on of those moms who rarely follows the age guidelines in toys. But in this case I'd stick with the suggested age as my son, who is not yet three, took a few tumbles in his test rides. It is great for teaching balance and coordination, that's for sure! This simple toy is bound to be a favorite in our house for many years to come.

$45 at Maukilo

GIVEAWAY! We have a $25 gift card to Maukilo to give away to one lucky reader! Congratulations to our winner, The Parrino World. Thanks for entering, the contest is now closed.

My fav by far is the Twig blocks. I am always in search of a good block set - it seems my kids either outgrow them or they aren't durable enough to keep over time. These look like they could be fun & inspire imagination in a wide range of ages. They also look very durable. I definitely like the "buy once, play forever" motto!
