For the gamers out there

Long, long ago, before I was a mom, I whiled away the hours on many mindless and carefree activities. One such activity happened to be a mild addiction to playing Super Mario Bros. I swear I would start a game and poof, there went two hours. My how things have changed!

When I saw these knitted critters from Vancouver's Ami Amigurumi by Leanne, my heart skipped a beat. There were the friends and foes of Mario in 3-D! I know the Halloween candy is still lingering but these would make terrific stocking stuffers for the gamer in your life. As for me, I want these on my desk at work as a reminder of those carefree days gone by.
