Animal art with a side of quirk
A few months ago I was looking to spruce up the kids' corner in our living room but wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to do. When I came across the exuberant artwork of Noelle Dass, I knew I had found just what I needed.
The Eugene artist started out as a classical oil painter, but soon realized that creating quirky animal art was a lot more fun. Lucky for us! Her colorful, often humorous Artimals prints are lively and child-like, without being cutesy. Her gallery is stuffed full of whimsy, from the puffed-up blowfish to the robot with its cheeky caption, "I will not be assimilated." (We chose the robot for our wall.)
It's no surprise that pediatricians often hang Noelle's work in their offices, for the simple fact that it makes children smile. A lovely way to brighten a room and add a touch of fun.
