Simple homemade costumes for the sewing adverse
I know my DIY-limits. I'm more comfortable with a tile saw than a sewing machine for example. So I naturally assumed that any DIY Halloween costumes were out of the question (unless they involved intricate tile work of course). But DIY Costumes gives you everything needed to turn a sweat suit into an adorable animal costume for your kiddo - with no sewing skills required!
DIY Costumes breaks out the costumes into three categories depending on how much time you have to devote to your masterpiece: Super Easy (15 min), Bragging Rights (45 min) and Worthy of Martha (2 hours). And did I mention that no sewing skills are required?
Each kit includes step-by-step instructions, links to video tutorials, iron on accessories, a needle and thread for light tacking and an iron on "handmade by ____" tag. You simply find a sweatsuit and put it all together. This really makes the idea of a homemade costume very achievable, even for those of us who are sewing-adverse.

Im torn between the panda and the koala. the panda is so cute, but the koala almost looks a bit like the costume from where the wild things are, and its tugging at my heartstrings.
