Instant personalized art you'll proudly display

My mother and grandmother each found a way to mark the major milestones in their children's lives through art. In my grandmother's home, you will see pictures of each of her four boys from their senior year in high school next to a cast of their hand prints from kindergarten. My mom has a drawing we created in kindergarten next to our senior picture. These are beautiful ways to mark the passing of time and a tradition I'd like to continue.

For a simple, modern display, I turn to the local Portland creators of Plywerk. It's an ingenious and creative way to display photos and artwork without the distraction of a frame. The panels are made from sustainably harvested bamboo or maple in myriad sizes to fit your project. You can send in your photos and have Plywerk mount them for you or order blank panels with a pre-applied PH neutral adhesive to mount your own artwork.

And now, you can even order coloring Plywerk panels from Oregon's Fawn & Forest. These 8x8 or 5x5 bamboo panels come mounted with one of three simple graphics ready for your young artist to color. They even include the crayons. Now that's what I call instant personalized art! This is artwork I can envision hanging proudly next to my child's senior picture one day.

5x5 Coloring Plywerk $30 at Fawn & Forest

GIVEAWAY! We have one 8x8 coloring Plywerk panel to give away to three lucky readers! The winners can even color their Plywerk prize and send in a photo of your finished artwork to display on Plywerk's Flickr stream. Congratulations to our winners, masonsgranny59, lighthouse27 and degood! Thanks to all who entered, the contest is now closed.
