Natural toys that your kiddo can scribble on

I have recently fallen for the wooden toys and games from Maple Landmark. From the old fashioned aesthetics of the scoots vehicles to the customizable name trains, I love them all. But what I really love most is that they are made in the USA with non-toxic finishes.

My current favorites are the "Made By Me!" activity kits which allow your kids to build and personalize a wooden toy all their own. This Made by Me! Truck comes with a 4" unfinished sanded smooth pine truck body, four natural wheels and axles. You simply supply the glue, hammer and creativity. Imagine the shock on your kids faces when you tell them it's okay to scribble on this toy! Instructions are included but this is a craft project even I could do. Of course as with any toy containing small parts, these kits are for kiddos over three.
