For your little hostess

Last month we had the opportunity to see some of the best local Portland Mom-owned businesses at Mom Shop. Let me tell ya, we were like kids in a candy store with all of those terrific family friendly products and services under one roof! And of course, we'll be sharing all of the treasures we discovered with you.

Starting with the sister-owned business, Mister Judy. I know what you're thinking so let's start with the story behind the name. An elderly gentleman gave their grandmother a dog that he could no longer care for. The dog, a male, was oddly named Judy so to restore some order, Grandma renamed him Mister Judy. In honor of the friendship between their Grandma and Mister Judy, these sisters named their company after the special little dog.

Okay, now that we've answered that question, let's talk about the beautiful products. At Mom Shop, both Heather and I bought clothes from Mister Judy for our kiddos. The craftsmanship is impeccable, the designs are classics with a modern twist and the fabric choices are adorable.
