Little lunchboxes for little hands
There are some online shops I love to browse, clicking through page after page of colorful images. Consider it the internet version of window shopping.
Lavish & Lime is one of them. The British Columbia store recently relaunched with a new green focus, bringing together all sorts of unique eco-friendlier products for women, kids, and home.
Like the Munchler animal lunchboxes, made of soft, insulating polypropylene. My three-year old likes the fun look and the handle sized for small hands. I appreciate the way it unzips completely flat, turning it into an instant placemat (no more food on dirty picnic tables) and making it easy to clean. The curvy zipper is still a little tricky for him, but the bag's weight and size are a good fit for his age.
The Lavish & Lime site also sports a new "name your price" option. If you see an item and think to yourself, "I'd buy that at a lower price," you can make a bid. No more waiting to see if an item you love (like this necklace, hint hint) goes on sale--you can just suggest a sale of your own! All the more reason to check out the updated Lavish & Lime.
