The mom-created site provides downloadable instructions on how to make everything from clothing and jewelry, to hair accessories, children's crafts and party cakes. The instructions are written by everyday women who have an expertise in a certain area. They try to recreate the experience of having someone sitting next to you, walking you through a project. Each guide even includes step-by-step photos, so you don't need to worry about getting confused by a bit of jargon. It's like a personal craft tutor in your computer.
You have to poke around the site a little to find the gems, but they are there--including the wonderful Bugga Bugs felt toy patterns we featured in December. Or this furry monster backpack that makes me want to learn to crochet.
It's almost enough to make a craft-challenged person like me believe she really can make something.
