Make every bag a knitting bag
I confess, I'm not a knitter. (My most recent attempt ended in a sad little scarf.) But I wish I were now that I've come across Persnickity Knits.
My crafty friends tell me the Persnickity Knits clutch is a dream knitting bag. Which isn't surprising, since Washington-based designer Rebecca Danger is an avid knitter herself. It's chic enough to be carried on its own and compact enough to be tossed into your bag, allowing you to keep your projects with you wherever you are. Time to put that overworked Ziploc away!
The nylon interior is lined with pockets for everything from knitting accessories to your cell phone, plus thoughtful details like a handy hook clip and an elastic loop for circular needles. The leather-like vinyl exterior snaps shut to keep projects clean and dry. A flat bottom lets the bag stand up straight to hold yarn steady while you work.
The clutches come in three sizes and a range of colors from cherry red to basic black, each handmade in the Bellingham, Washington studio. Although designed with knitters in mind, I think they'd work equally well for other crafts--my cross-stitch projects would tuck neatly into the small LuLu size.
Persnickity Knits clutches are the perfect combination of utilitarian and pretty. A great gift for knitters--or a little indulgence for your knitting self.
