Don't hate us because we're not freezing
We had some beautiful weather in western Oregon last week, with highs in the mid-40s. When I was out shopping one bright afternoon, I spied a little girl wearing her cute cover-up from Portland-based Peri Ponchos. She looked adorable with her jeans peeking out from beneath the pom-pom trim.
The handmade fleece ponchos are perfect for slightly chilly days, with the hood adding a bit of extra warmth when needed (or protection from the rain). And believe me, it is so much easier to throw a poncho onto a squirming toddler than pull arms through jacket sleeves.
Peri Ponchos come in everything from leopard print to classic pink, each sporting whimsical trim and a tassle on the hood. Available in sizes for girls from toddler through grade school. And thanks to the roomy cut, she'll be able to wear a size for a few years, so you'll get a lot of mileage--and admiring looks--from a single purchase.
