A little pick-me-up for the car seat

When our second child arrived, we tried to reuse as much of our baby gear as was practical. So there was no picking out a cute new car seat, even though we were going from a boy to a girl.

I admit to looking at some of our more well-used items and wishing we could spruce them up a bit. So I turned to small touches, like these car seat belt covers from Seattle-based Amy Rose Designs. They add just the right amount of fresh color while making the straps comfy for my little girl's neck. (They'd work equally well on stroller straps.) The attention to detail is impeccable, from the top-stitching to the rounded corners. And they are even reversible, so I'm already set the next time I'm needing a little change.

"I just wanted to let you know that I received this product last week and it is SO incredibly adorable! I was going to keep it for myself, but I want to show it off so it might be going to one of my best friends for her baby shower - that way all the moms there can see it. Thank the sponsor for me please! Thanks again!"
