Holiday greetings without the guilt

As much as I appreciate people's efforts to reduce their environmental impact, sending out holiday cards is one tradition I'm not ready to see go. I love catching up on far flung friends and getting a peek at how their children have grown each year. Getting an email greeting just isn't the same.

Options for recycled greeting card have been out there for awhile, but recycled photo cards are harder to find. Which is why I was so pleased to come across the lovely--and affordable!--recycled photo cards from the pair of moms behind Pear Tree Greetings. Every beautifully designed card in the line is made from 100% post-consumer recycled fibers (recycled envelopes included, of course.) The line is still small, but it's a great start and I hope to see more of their creative announcements and cards drawn into the recycled category in the future.
