Laundry is no match for Nellie
Just like the commercials, I used to bury my nose in a pile of clean towels and think "now that smells clean!" No really, I did. Then I'd sneeze. And sneeze and sneeze and sneeze some more. Which made me think, "wait a minute, clean shouldn't have a SMELL, should it? And if it does, it really shouldn't make me sneeze." So I switched to an unscented dryer sheet. Problem solved.
Except the problem wasn't solved. Although the sneezing stopped, even those unscented dryer sheets and detergents were still filled with a litany of toxic chemicals. So I looked around for a healthier alternative that still gave me clean, soft clothes free from static cling. That's a tall order but thankfully not too tall for Nellie's All-Natural. Though I went to the site for the dryer balls, I succumbed to a bundle deal of Dryer Balls and Laundry Soda. And boy am I glad I did. It only takes one
tablespoon of the Laundry Soda to get even a large load sparkling clean. Even spit up and pureed carrots are no match for Nellie. The dryer balls are noisy but they get my towels soft and fluffy in less time. And now, holy cow, they have Oxygen Brightener! Be still my heart.
