Keeping warm in the car seat

When our baby was born in the middle of a Pacific Northwest winter, I wasn't thrilled about our choices for keeping her warm in her car seat: cover her in blankets that I was bound to drop in the nearest mud puddle, or bundle her in bunting that would be too warm once the car heater kicked in.

The Kiddopotamus CozyUp Cozy Carrier Cover solved that dilemna. One quick zip and baby is snuggly warm inside the water-resistant, fleece lined cover. When it's time to remove baby or enter a warmer space, just unzip and you're done. The elasticized edge hugs the outside of the carrier (like a shower cap), so nothing interferes with the important safety straps. There's even a wee pocket to stash a pacifier.

And how adorable will your baby be with her head poking out like that?

Available in four colors, including my favorite, a soft green.

I was going to keep it for myself, but I want to show it off so it might be going to one of my best friends for her baby shower - that way all the moms there can see it. Thank the sponsor for me please! Thanks again!"
